      Volunteer Work Days at The Good Samaritan Healthy Farm Good Sam is located at 1015 Donald Lee Hollowell Pkwy NW, Atlanta, GA 30318.

      Things are really starting to shape up nicely at this new farm site! We hope you can join us on one our our upcoming workdays! Work days will continue on the first Saturday of each month. We are establishing a new Urban Farm with our Partners at the Good Samaritan Health Center (Good Sam), who provide services(with a focus on nutrition) to over 25,000 low income families in Atlanta.SHS is helping them establish an Urban Farm to provide organic produce to their clients.RSVP toemail hidden; JavaScript is required if you plan to come, and let us know if you have any gardening tools you plan to bring!

      We have collective Kazi (ka-zee), Swahili for “work days” the third weekend of each month, with Hands on Atlanta joining us on Saturdays from 9am-12pm, or for those who can’t make it on Saturday, Sundays from 2-5pm.

      Visit us at the East Lake Learning Garden and Urban Farm on June 15th for a class with GA Master Gardeners Lou and Bill Lisenby on Veggie Gardening.

      There is no charge for this class! Rain or shine! 20 participants max–RSVP to email hidden; JavaScript is required .  Please arrive by 10 am.

      Who doesn’t like fresh vegetables? This class examines some of the best veggies for our gardens in the Atlanta area.
